Did you know…. that our packaging is FULLY Home Compostable and totally Plastic Free?
We are proud to use fully compostable packaging for all of our orders - with our satchels brilliantly supplied by The Better Packaging Co.
The widespread use of single-use plastics for online shopping orders has bothered us for a longtime. As part of our commitment to keeping our environmental footprint as small as possible, we only use fully compostable packaging for all our shipments.
This commitment flows from manufacturing through to delivery to the final customer.
We also make sure that all of our clothing tags, size labels and hang-tags are made from recycled card and organic cotton. This further reduces our environmental impact.
The fashion industry is one of the world’s major polluters. Did you know that EVERY garment made in a factory is typically individually poly-bagged in a clear plastic bag before shipping to stores?
These bags are a nightmare and contribute to plastic pollution worldwide. We have instead chosen to use a corn starch alternative, that replaces the need for a traditional plastic poly-bag. Our bags can be thrown into your green bin to be composted in no time!
The satchels and poly-bags we use are in fact:
- Bio-based ie. partly made from PLANTS
- Feel and behave exactly like plastic (EXCEPT when disposed of!)
- Biodegradable with no toxic residues (or micro-plastics)
- And COMPOSTABLE at HOME!
